here's another picture from a previous year of Trail Riders making their way into the city ....
it's a nightmare for motorists trying to get anywhere during this week every year

 

Hmmmm, good question @Holly Saunders , Maybe someone gets paid to do it. I seem to remember that when the circus came to town, you had to get on a list years in advanced to be able to shovel up elephant poo. I'm not sure if they had to pay for it or not. It was supposed to be great fertilizer. Can you imagine the job description.

The Rodeo is a good excuse to get out the Cowboy hats and boots every year. Huge event.
Many places, especially western parts of the country have yearly Rodeos - the one here lasts for 3 weeks and big name singers appear for the shows every night. They have a BBQ cook-off for two days prior to the start of the Rodeo.
and a lot of this ..



..... and on the other note of picking up poo ..... the Republicans have a debate in Houston tomorrow night also..

 

I live in Kalihi, on Oahu in Hawaii.




Near by my home is Marukai Wholesale Mart.
Right at the left of the screen is Kamehameha Hwy. which was Dillingham just a block away we just ahead of this parking lot, right after the little industrial warehouse. Living near Marukai Wholesale Mart makes life very convenient for shopping too.

 

@Diane Lane it has been recommended that Members put their location within their signature to help us know where a poster is from.. Look at mine and others..

 

Yep but a lot of us have signatures disabled..( as I do Ken)...so we still wouldn't see a location there... perhaps under our avatars would be a better place to put it..

 

@Holly Saunders, why do you have signatures disabled? Is there something I don't know?

 

Simply because I get bored seeing the same script or quotes over and over again when I read different people's posts....nothing sinister..

 

Okay, I seldom read them but have to admit I don't like the ones that take up half the page.

 

Me neither...

 

But ... but .... but ... that's the place many of us put our location.

 

I just look at a profile to find someone's location, but I do think it would be a good idea to have the location under our avatars like most forums..
