That's good news. I agree with all your advice on foods. I've lost 20 lbs. in the last year, and I'm not sure why, but a lot of it is related to this change in lifestyle created by the virus. (as stated previously, I've had 3 family members who had covid-19) I am now down to 149 lbs. (at 6 ft even, it makes me look pretty skinny), but that's o.k. since I can now wear some of my old clothes that I've long ago stored away. Congrats to you, and I like you, don't eat much meat, and I've eaten oatmeal for the last 40 or so years for breakfast.
Great news Yvonne! Have you tried the plant-based non-GMO organic protein shakes? The cancer doctor got me started on them and they have been a real boost to my light meat diet. Keep it up Yvonne and so happy you received a good report.
Are those commercially sold shakes, Faye, or do you make them at home? I've been feeling more and more that my malaise can be helped by consuming fewer calories (as I've done in the past.)
They are sold at Costco under the name Orgain. You can get them either plant or animal-based. They were formulated by a doctor that battled cancer himself. Much higher quality than other brands.
