My wife and I are for the last several months, holed-up in Arizona. Her kin are in Indiana, ravaged by winter, as it were. Her younger sister could easily accompany their mother, quite aged, but perfectly happy with, and capable of, travel, to fly out here for the remainder of Winter. Their Mom would gladly foot the cost. Hang-up? Sister is afraid to fly........ We have no idea how to convince her flying is a breeze. She has flown before, not a new thing. frank
Frank, that's easy if your sister-in-law likes Margaritas. She could have a couple before she gets on the plane and than order one on the trip and she'll be good to go. Do you think there might be another reason she doesn't want to come out there? Are you and she on good terms?
Ha, Ha! I am on dubious terms with just about everybody! Her sister learned, quite awhile ago, revealed in a recent email to my wife, her husband "jumped in bed" with one of the other Town Board members, he is 59, she 28, half her head kept shaved, which part is covered with tattoos, a fact which would make my interest negative, but to each his own, right? So, married 35 years, she seeks a divorce from him. Has nothing to do with her fear of flying, tho.
OK, well I guess we will forget the Margaritas for her. I do think she should take her mom out to visit your wife though. Your MIL might just love the AZ weather.
