Why do you think Pirbright institute developed the coronavirus, that they received the patent on? What do you think was their purpose for developing it?
There is no patent with the number you provided. Maybe a typo? Pirbright is an animal research laboratory. It does have a patent (#10,130,701) on a variant of the SARS virus, "a type of weakened coronavirus that could potentially be used as a vaccine to prevent respiratory diseases affecting animals, mainly in poultry and pigs." Patents are obtained in the event of future development of vaccines. You should see the precautions they take here in Georgia around the large commercial chicken houses. Visitors have to suit up from head to toe just to enter the facilities. Signs out front with warnings. Introduction of a virus can wipe out thousands quickly. Make sure you are not being played, by someone, or some group, with an agenda.

Most if not all, but most of those were naturally-occurring. This was not, and, actually the MSM is actually beginning to say that. It has been known almost from the beginning that this was an engineered virus. They may actually have already had the vaccine developed prior to the outbreak. That may be why it was on the market so quickly. It is also an excuse to permanently change the DNA of the human race forever. That last is the scariest thing of all.

If you listen or read long-term virologists, they will say that viruses out of China can be traced to an animal origin; this is the exception and is why China won't allow folks in to trace the origins. One person said this is virtually non-transmissible outdoors, something not typical of animal viruses, and the breakdown of the genotype is almost impossible to occur naturally. Of course, one can never trust anyone completely.
Now there are calls for Fauci's resignation/termination from some members of Congress. The bill is humorously named "FIRED" for "Fauci's Incompetence Requires Early Dismissal" because of his continual flip-flopping on the Covid issue. Interestingly, Trump had initiated an investigation into the possibility of a Lab leak origin, but Biden terminated the investigation silently. Because of the uproar, Biden has now called for a new investigation and his staff says the new investigation will rely upon the WHO and the PRC to conduct it. No possibility of false information coming out of that, is there? Some are now calling this the biggest scandal in American history that has resulted in however many deaths (you guess at the number). Fauci is at the core of the scandal, and the grant that was given in 2014 appears to have been sent to China with Fauci's knowledge even though the research to be conducted was against American law. He just found a way around the law, and thought he knew better than the folks who prohibited the research...he was smarter.....
Now even CNN is talking about the virus coming from a lab leak, but they are trying to find a way around avoiding saying, "Trump was right". Congress is trying to get more attention on when the Representatives thought they were threatened on January 6, and the media is trying to find a way to put Trump on the grassy knoll in 1963. in Dallas.
It turns out, from emails received through an FOIA request, Dr. Fauci had received multiple emails from NIH scientists who were concerned that they had funded the gain-of-function research that may have resulted in the Wuhan Virus, and these go back to early 2000. Also from emails, as reasonable people were already aware, Dr. Fauci knew all along that cloth masks would be useless against a virus, and the masks were being required simply for the optics. In other words, people are more easily frightened when masks are mandated and they see everyone around them wearing masks. Dr. Fauci also received an email from one of the heads of the Wuhan Lab thanking him for downplaying the role played by the lab in releasing the virus. Interestingly, the last paragraph of an email to Dr. Fauci from Facebook's Zuckerberg was redacted, except for the first word of the paragraph, which was "Finally,..."
