Warning -- I'm about to brag. Earlier this week I published a collection of fictionalized interviews with 5 notable women in my genealogy. It was a fun experiment to will in gaps in historical records with imagined details, spun out in dialogue. Published under a pen name, I'll soon add to my publishing platform the story of searching for my birth mother, finding her just 11 months before her death, and the mysteries and lies she left behind. That one was written a number of years ago and is on Amazon Kindle, but needs updating and adding to my other platform. I have a few other things out there, under various names, as well. https://liminal.pub/authors is where to find them. I'm curious if anyone else here has published something somewhere, and used a pen name, or several, or not.
Sorry I just saw this. Congratulations! I've never had the desire to do something like this. I can't imagine creating enough words to fill an entire book.
@Bill Boggs "still writing" is the key. Good for you! Sometimes all that matters is getting our thoughts out of the corners of the mind.
Impressive and you have reason to brag! How about this for a coincidence... you're a writer and I'm a reader!! (That's the extent of my talent.) Congrats.
I was at Lowes a few days ago and found myself talking out loud...alone. The guy walking down the aisle a few feet in front of me looked over. You know what I did??? I invoked my solution to all shopping cart people everywhere. I put my hand up by my ear as though I had a Bluetooth headset, cocked my head and got a distant look in my eyes as though I were envisioning the person on the other end. And I said "Yeh?"
