I had a boyfriend once who was a Reiki Master. He was very nice and a lot of fun except when it came to Reiki. The last time I talked to him on the phone, he lived in Ohio and claimed a friend, who was also a Master, was wishing away, or casting a spell, or whatever they do, and curing him of a serious health problem. This person was doing this from Arizona. He could also walk on fire.
I have never heard of Reiki and had to look it up. I have always had Full Body Swedish massages and don't plan to give it up, but I am curious about Reiki which I know is quite different.
I am realistic and was not expecting miracles but for only $ 50.00 for the hour I do feel quite good and relaxed. Isela has a great touch and I will see her again in two weeks or sooner. She actually used a combination of Swedish, Reflexology and Reiki.
She was just hired by our Assisted Living to replace the former masseuse that left due to COVID. We have a Massage Room next to our Fitness Center
That's interesting there is someone with those credentials available. I wonder if California's Asian population might have created the need.
