I have found it a great way to learn what other people are thinking and expressing themselves. I seldom learn however, why they feel the way they do.
Whenever I read your posts in these areas Lon I never think of you as a pot stirrer. I do think of you as someone who is waiting for someone who could come up with an answer that just might make you think twice about your own beliefs on these two subjects.
Good. That's a place to start anyway. (maybe) Do you remember what else was set in stone, and never will change though, in past thousands of years now, and forever in the future ?
@Lon Tanner I think that you ask great questions. It refreshing to find someone like you who doesn't mind speaking up. It was mama, after all, who always told me, "Son, a closed mouth don't get fed." Never stop being curious!
Pot stirring is what keeps a forum active. There are always ones like me that love posting a comic but relevant answer. Pot stirring dispels stagnation. The only thing I might mention is after stirring the pot just follow up occasionally to address comments so the soup doesn't boil and burn. Sometimes a counterclockwise stir might help blend in added ingredients. So much soup is tossed or fed to the chickens because of too many ingredients not melding together. As head chef, you must keep an eye on your daily soup special while cutting the cheese or spanking the dough.
