My wife and I have seen some wonderfully amazing seniors working out and swimming at the Wellness Center.
In the case of this video, let’s say you’re an 81 year old and just can’t find anything to do after retiring.
Well, I guess this guy did…..

ACT YOUR AGE!! What is that precisely? Is there a cut-off point when human beings have to stop improving themselves? Just because some age has attached itself to our bodies and brains, does that mean that we can no longer park our egos somewhere and do what others say we shouldn’t do?
I have written several times about a couple of the guys that frequent the gym. One is 84 (or 85) and squats 350 and dead lifts around 400.
Another is well over 90 and benches his own weight plus.
Other 60-70-80-+ year old people are taking aerobics classes and others float around the gym doing what they can to either get in shape or stay that way.
My assessment is that some seniors are just so amazing that there are indeed as @John Brunner wrote, “there are no words” to describe them.

Here’s some “old” folks who are not too “shy to try” and to tell the truth, I even envy a couple of them. Who knows, I might want to become a “high-flier” like the hot octogenarian chick at the end of the video!

These seniors are amazing, gotta love their spirit!! I sooo agree on this acting ones age issue. Like women over 50 shouldn't have long hair, my goodness who made THAT rule. It's like not wearing white after a certain season, I wear it all year 'round...always have and always will. Silly stuff to me. My younger Sis years ago told me I needed to stop acting like I was 16 and act my age. I said, but i've never been this age before so I don't know what acting THIS age is "supposed" to be like. lol I say live and let live, as long as a person isn't hurting anybody...

    Thanks for this thread!!
 Shows what many of we seniors are capable of...awesome.:)

    Amazing videos Bobby!

And a great example that age is just a number...not a stop living and loving life sentence.

When I first kicked out and started getting serious about being a bodybuilder, I was told by more than a few know-it-all types that after 50 or so a man doesn’t stand much of a chance to build muscle mass.
That was when i was 65 and I’m going on 72 on my next BD and I’m in better shape now than ever before.
Maybe there is an age when we’re supposed to quit raising the bar on ourselves; quit trying to improve our body and brain and sit down for the rest of our days but thank God I can’t see that far into the future for certainly, that must be years away.

If a person listens to the less motivated and “acts their age” and does whatever they’re expected to do then they’ll never be able to do the unexpected.

Ya just gotta love these oldsters! I especially love the guy who was dancing with two walking sticks and then in another part of the video he threw them and danced without them. Really cool!
