I just wanted to remind everyone that we also have the “report” button, as well as the “ignore” button, and both can be appropriate at different times. When it is just some one whose comments you don’t want to hear, the ignore button should do the trick. If it is someone who is spamming the forum with their agenda-related posts on every thread, then the report button will alert Admin that these posts need to be checked out, and removed. However, when people are responding to the spammer, then it becomes part of the forum conversation, and can usually not be removed; so not responding to the spammer will allow these posts to be removed if they are just promoting an agenda and not actually contributing to the discussions. Also, it thwarts the spammers desire to be the object of attention all of the time, in every thread, if no one responds.
This used to me a nice, entertaining place to visit. Sadly, it has been commandeered and is now just not fun any more.
It seems like he's referring to this forum, but a lot of members have noted it about this country (politic, media, and medical) in hundreds of posts.
I am sorry that you are not enjoying the forum as much as you used to do, @Hoot Crawford , and hope that you decide to stay. Can you explain what is making the forum not as enjoyable as it used to be for everyone, and maybe @Ken Anderson can address the issue if he is made aware of it ?
How are the many threads , including Ken's and his own posts, on the problems with the government , politics, education system, and medical system, like this good example below, less "agenda" than my own threads or posts on the SAME TOPICS and SAME GOAL (to let people know, and just like the one below, to DISCUSS IT) : Some one in power, un-named, unknown, keeps deleting my threads and posts that are THE SAME as the other member's threads and posts on the same topics. Has the powers that be (politic or religion) gotten control of one or more of the moderators and doesn't want to be exposed as much ? !
