I had a great Meat Lovers Pizza and salad for dinner tonight but could not finish it. Pizza in the morning with OJ and coffee will be just right.
I guess I need to know if you mean reheated leftover pizza or just "from fridge to mouth" leftover pizza. The latter has been a recently acquired taste for me. I would never have independently thought to do this, but stories and tales planted the seed.
There was a local pizzaria back home whose pizza I shall forever miss. I bet it was around for 40+ years. Those are the ones you'll never find a "Reversed Recipe" for. Evey time this subject comes up, I get a taste for it. I'm angry you aren't on the phone right now placing an order. Where I am, Pizza Hut closes at 10PM, and it's open later than anything else. And nothing delivers out my way, even earlier in the day.
Everyone we havecpizz my wife always runs out of steam so I always have cold pizza some time the next day.
We usually manage to clean up a large, thin crust, Hawaiian style pizza from Domino's in one setting, but once in a while we have a couple of pieces left over, which are indeed great for breakfast. Yes, I reheat in the microwave.
Any leftover pizza is eaten the next day for lunch.........never/ever for breakfast. Funny, when talking about pizza, I remember the movie, Cobra, with Sylvester Stallone as a Detective. He got home from work, got into the frig, grabbed the pizza container, got a pair of scissors and cut off a piece. Before that movie, I had never seen pizza cut with scissors!
We usually finish a large except for a single slice for some reason, so then we "pick" at the toppings and throw it away. If I ever reheat pizza it's in a toaster oven because I can't deal with soggy crust.
I bought some "pizza shears" a few years ago and they have still never been used. I guess I should try them but the roller/cutter works well on a homemade pizza.
