s Not true! I've always liked participating in sex Dying not so much but I do enjoy talking with those who believe in or have had near death experiences.
Welllll, like in life there are doers and talkers and voyeurs.... I have friends with dogs who say their whole life is let the dog out. Let the dog in. Let the dog out.... The voyeurs should maybe post what they've been seeing lately and their opinions. (In case I am one of the same posters)
Oh, yes ! That “let the dog out, let the dog in” life is very real, I am here to tell you, @Mary Stetler . We have 3 of them, two little ones, and Bobby’s big dog. Not only do they continuously (every 10 minutes sounds about right) want to be let out or let back in, they can’t be let out together. Poodle is little, but he wants to tell Rusty that he is the Boss, and then Rusty chews him up to hamburger . So, Rusty has to be in his bed/crate when Poodle and Tootsie go out to wander around and bark at squirrels or neighbor kids. On the other hand, Rusty needs to have company, too; so then I have to let Poodle in (but not Tootsie), so that she can keep Rusty company out there. She is the true description of a Companion Dog…. This is an ongoing, all-day affair. I would be glad to make a thread about it in the Pets section, if anyone wants to know even more details ?
There's a pretty lengthy thread here where folks shared such experiences. Just one comment and it will get put back on our radar screens...
I challenge anyone to point out one topic that hasn't been discussed that is appropriate or INTERESTING for this forum? I mean Ken has more boards and subboards than all the other senior forums combined. No one likes starting threads that die before they get going. I can think of a few fresh topics but no one else gives a fat barn rat's tail and I hate to start an amazing informative new fresh exciting thread just to watch it die a horrible lonely death. Example: Is anyone interested in a thread about Tanning Hides? We could discuss brain tan VS acid tan and things like hair removal with wood stove ashes and now get this, Fel's Naptha soap. That is fairly fresh.
Actually, I had one of those Tandy leather kits when I was a kid. You recently made a comment elsewhere that referenced tanning with brain, and I meant to ask you about it. So I'd participate in a thread about tanning...at least, as best I could being bereft of experience. A little history on the subject might be interesting (I bet it goes back pretty far, to periods where nothing was wasted.) And are there special breeds that make better leather? I promise it won't die a lonely death...I'll attend the services. I can be a banshee. £5 should cover half an hour.
