I was dreaming and worrying last night about what to pack for being away for a couple of days and which small bag to use. I don't know where I was going since I don't travel these days and don't want to. I worry in my dream about where I parked my car and I haven't driven or had a car in three years.
Interpretation of your dream Your in a rut routine wise, and an interest you did have as become unsatisfactory. Try and make a few small changes Lon.
Weird Dream Last Night-----I was back to see a husband/wife clients with some recommendations and found myself apologising for not having any because I forgot to ask them any questions at last appointment.
Lately, I've been dreaming of being involved in the Design, Manufacture, and Testing of complex Electro-Mechanical systems. Last night I dreamed of designing a machine that used threads of different pitches and types (USS, SAE, ACME, Square, and special-purpose threads. I don't recall the purpose of the machine, but we designers and engineers were deeply involved in the planning and discussion of the working parts. During the dream, I recall measuring certain components with under .001" accuracy. When I had my 9" x 24" Lathe, I could turn dreams into reality by machining Aluminum, Brass, and Steel into parts required for my scientific projects.
What a weird dream last night. A mortgage is the last thing in the world I would want to have at this point in my life. There is absolutely nothing that I wish to buy.
I used to write down my dreams. They were always so vivid. I would have a "main dream" during the night, wake up around 4AM, and then have some Reader's Digest condensed dream after that, complete yet distinct from the first one. I never made any sense of them, except the violent ones about this one boss I had. Those made perfect sense.
Believe it or not, I use to dream that I was Superman. I could leap and the air and off I went. Guess I watched too many George Reeves/Superman tv shows. Sometimes I will dream that I've been shot, then I'll wake myself up. Terrible dream, terrible!
Like you, sometimes I dream I'm being chased and I can fly through the air and get away easily. Other times I'm being chased and can't even move my legs.
Lon, to stop frivolous dreams, consciously pretend that you really believe in their images and messages, then your subconscious will eventually tire of fooling you and stop. This is known as altered virtual transplacement. Hal
I often have lucid dreams of future events. Last one was I guess a century or more in the future. There was a ancient, mud covered yellow calendar half buried. Year said 2031. It was in a small camp of folks living outdoors in a clearing in the forest. At the time of my visit in spirit, they were teaching their children to read and write on pieces of slate with soft limestone sticks. Food was cooking in pots over the campfires and it smelled great. I can still recall that great smell. There were no permanent cabins, RVs. Just bush shelters of twigs and small trees. teepee style. A few were grabbing some Zees in blue canvas hammocks. Ended when I got an invite to join them for a dinner of venison, potatoes and mushrooms. Overall a pleasant dream, though I remember thinking are these folks the new human future?
