I never liked eating rabbits either domestic or wild and while I did tan a couple of pelts, they are thin and I didn't have any use for them so I gave them away to a friend. I have tanned goat, cattle, deer, and elk. Since the goat hides are thinner, I used them to make a top and summer skirt. I haven't tanned hides in 35 years and my mention was just reminiscing. I think such a thread might get off-topic quickly, hahaha!
Tan me hide when I’m dead, Fred. Tan me hide when I’m dead. Well we tanned iz hide when e died Clyde and that’s it hangin’ on the shed.
It’s amazing but some whiz kid twinkie in California said almost exactly the same thing over the air waves about 4-5 years ago. She said we shouldn’t kill animals for meat and just buy it at the store. I think it was someone similar who said that they need to move the deer crossing signs into town so the deer wouldn’t cross where they could get hit by cars.
Reminds me of when my oldest son was a little fellow. He wanted something at the store and I told him we just didn't have enough money to buy it. He said, "write a check, mama." (But of course he was only about 4 years old at the time.)
my wife got a birthday card from an ex duaughter-in-law with a check in it. My son said don't deposit that it's empty. that's one reason she's an ex.
Nope. Every time I go to clothing optional meetings, someone speaks up and says, "Hey Lady! You should've ironed that suit before wearing it."
My wife liked to talk during sex...she kept calling me from motels. We'll be here all week, folks. Try the veal...
This thread is the perfect example of how to take an original theme off topic. Perhaps it should be enshrined in policy examples somewhere for those who don't know what going off topic means. LOL
