Not really Debbie, but there have been plenty of articles on Scientology. Also, I am not judging him at all. He's simply an actor in some movies I've seen.
I liked him in Broken Arrow, Phenomenon, Grease, Saturday Night Fever and Michael. I don't judge people by what they believe in and that is not who is to judge in the first place. I think he got better looking as he aged and I love that smile of his. You can learn more about him and his family here: John Travolta
Yes I know he had a child who was born with autism and who died age 16 from a seizure, absolutely tragic for any parent., and no-one would wish that on anyone ..but for me anyway, I'm discussing/judging JT as an actor, and celebrity...not a father or husband..of which I know nothing...
Okay, okay... I'll admit that Vinnie Barbarino was my favorite cast member... *but* not so sure I'd say he was hot. David Cassidy... now HE was hot. And Fonzie would have been an interesting date. And Randy Mantooth... oh my, my!
I didn't see any judging here... the statement made was that there was controversy including the Scientology. Not a judging statement anywhere to be found, nope nope. Tom Cruise has controversy about it, too... so did Katie Holmes before she escaped. Can't deny there's controversy there.
I judge people by their religion sometimes. It depends on the religion, but there are some religions that I just consider weird and it's impossible not to judge people by that. I mean, a person's religion is a large part of who they are and you can't fairly judge someone unless you consider everything that's available. I don't judge people according to their religion here though, nor anywhere else in public, and I am not at all suggesting we judge one another on that basis here, but it would be a lie for me to say that I don't consider it. Of course, religion is only a part of the whole, and I know some very good, intelligent people who are believers in religions that I consider to be weird. Then, of course, there is the fact that I am an Anabaptist and most people don't even know what that is.
I too like Saturday Night Fever with all the music from Bee Gees too, makes the movie so good. I like rock operas like Laryrinth with David Bowie too. image from http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/80s-films/images/298571/title/labyrinth-1986-photo. image from http://vandaagindemuziekgeschiedenis.blogspot.com/2012/12/muziekgeschiedenis-van-16-december.html.
