Ours are many but the main one here is water.I'm not a tree hugger but facts are facts and I feel we are at the point of no return.Or actually past it. Here in Florida we had yes had the largest concentration of natural springs on earth, now many are toxic or gone forever. The leaders, Water Management and EPA. 3 years ago, Last week,
pythons have killed off most of our natural wildlife from people letting them loose [why do we allow them in the country at all], 3 yr ago, 1 month ago,
Lets here it for the Hepititis carrying monkey invasion doing the backstroke across our springs and rivers..
All the primates and reptiles we can live with but its the people moving here that has done the most damage to our resources.
Well, I live in Houston, "Carcinogen Alley" with a petrochemical plant every 2 miles or so. I'm sure our air quality is scary but that industry fed us and put a roof over our heads for a lot of years. My brother-in-law and many family members are farmers in GA; the chemicals they have been exposed to over the years are terrifying.
W have tried to be careful but most don't realize what they are leaving to their children or the younger generation.
@Marie Mallery If you have not done so, you should surely obtain a copy of the non-fiction book "Our Stolen Future", written about 1978. It details what I consider to be the most insidious of all environmental problems present today: Endocrine mimicking synthetic chemicals now found around the Globe, with measurable amounts in EVERY HUMAN BEINGS' BODY! DDT, along with many other pesticides, PCBs, Dioxin related to Agent Orange production, our proliferation of contaminated plastic containers, asbestos, there are thousands on the list. I strongly recommend the book. Available on line. Frank
the story of our farming is to avoid a lot of what we can't see in our food. But it doesn't take care of everything. We have poisoned our earth because it was easier than doing what was right. This week my daughter started drooping. She is a plow ahead kind of girl. But she said her joints were hurting all over Her TEETH hurt, she had chills and a headache that she could not deal with... We have a lot of ticks this year. I knew she had lymes disease as I had it myself a while back. She found the rash and we all started harvesting first year teasel root. So much conflicting info as to what and when to do for lymes. Not sure anyone really knows for sure what will help everyone. We are going for doxicycline tomorrow (long story) and I have some other herbals in my arsenal. Good thing no one goes outside anymore.
That is sure not good,Here in florida we always have a forest fire burning somewhere. But here in N.Fl. haven't had one in a few years. I think the T.S.Elsa put out the Everglades fire a couple weeks ago ,hope so.
I had Lyme about 14 yr.ago. Dr. said I had 3 days to get on antibiotics or I may have kept the infection for life. I had just picked a tic off the day before and it had a perfect bullseyes on the bite.LuckyI had dr appt. the next day.
