Ok, like my VA doctor told me in Florida, "the Senior Double-Dose Flu Shot won't stop you from getting the flu, but if you do get the flu, it will be a whole lot less serious than without the shot." So, for those that say, the Covid 10 vaccine doesn't work, it does work! I'd rather get a common cold-like illness, than be in the ICU on a respirator.
"Vaccinated people" are not the only cases, so you need to update the narrative. https://people.com/health/catt-sadl...getting-fully-vaccinated-delta-is-relentless/
Yup. Things are picking up again everywhere. OSHA has now added an Emergency Temporary Standard requiring us to do the whole protective thing again and requiring employers to follow suit. Read this today as well. Americans will need masks indoors as U.S. heads for 'dangerous fall' with surge in delta Covid cases (cnbc.com) Every day at work I see our COVID activity increase. I don't think we'll make it till Fall. I think it may swarm us here soon in the next few weeks. I hope I'm wrong.
For those still talking about the Variant, read my #7 reply and what my VA doctor said about the Senior Double-Dose Flu Shot wife and I get every year.
Just know that another round is coming. From everything I've read this may be worse than the last because of the fact that it spreads so easily and so quickly. I was looking at a live video on ABC this virologist had done and she stated that the Delta variant wouldn't miss anyone. Just continue with your safety measures and keep your fingers crossed Lon.
Yes, it lessens your symptoms. But you can still get it and you are still contagious, so you gotta wonder why the government tells you to take off your mask (which they told us is solely there to protect everyone else) just because you got vaccinated. I don't understand.
We're not supposed to worry our heads about it, @John Brunner. It's science, so it doesn't have to make sense.
At least All's Well as can be, considering the Virus Mess I moved in just before Thanksgiving 2017 and hosted 22 of my family members for a outstanding Thanksgiving dinner in the private dining room. I will not be doing that again this year. In retrospect, selling my home and car and moving here was the right decision Management, care workers and residents have come and gone during this Virus mess but I am still here and will be till I die. Why would I go any place else. I am looking forward to having visits from family members and having them share a lunch or dinner with me. I am also looking forward to watching a few Oakland Raider & San Francisco 49er foot ball games on TV this fall and winter. I grew up in San Francisco/Oakland as a teen ager.
you are blessed to have such a great place...family...and new pet..cranberry....I look forward to your posts
