Ugly stuff but all that was on hand and needed to be used or tossed. I am now eating Ritz crackers to kill the acid. Foolishness, but sometimes it is necessary to let our hair down. I should have thought of this before my short haircut yesterday. Lon was a day late with his post and interrogations.
I just got a mental image of Lon with a monocle, leather jacket, and cat-o-nine-tails. (And of course the personal size screw-top "vintage" wine.) Thanks.
Don not drink wine at all bur addicted to most cheeses big time, many nights cheese and a box of crackers are my supper here if tired.
Just not a drinker here at all if I did so it would be tequila. I had some goat cheese 1 time and hated it, Swiss in #1

I buy those to cook with. We aren't wine drinkers so it gripes me to open a big bottle of wine for a single dish.
I like the small bottles but have yet to find a Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon in it. My old age is turning me into a wine sissy and those harsh charred oak barrel-aged wines are almost punishment. I don't even like to cook with them anymore.
