What do you use for email? Ever been hacked? Can you easily find your contacts ? Are you Spam poor?
I am sick of Google and have been trying to get away from it best as possible. I have read the info on the net and even Google, but still can not get Google to show me my contacts. Not the the contacts on my phone the ones I use to send emails to and from on Google. Showing contacts should not take an act of congress .
I do have anther email address I have set up thru Outlook, but have not used it much. Such a hassle - I think notifying everyone about the email switch.
Who do you use? Do you have two different email accounts? Use to be so simple .

What I think Al means, is that his main email is through his ISP server (comcast, AT&T, etc) , so whatever server you use to connect to the internet you can get an email from.
Now that i use Apple, my email for many years has been my Apple email, and I use yahoo as a backup email for things like Bookbub and surveys. Most of the time, I do not even use email for anything anymore, because I use instant messaging/texting instead.
I also have my Idaho4 email that i have had for many years, and some of my email comes to that, but it is a private one owned by my son, so there are only family members on that one.

Gloria, do you mean Gmail? If so, look at the top of your screen near the upper right hand side. There's a little "grid" of nine circle things. Click on that to open Google Apps. You should see Contacts in that box. You can right-click on Contacts and place a "Favorite" on your Book Marks Toolbar.

Well that tab let sure made a mess didn't it? By prime I mean my primary contact for email. The gaim should have been gmail. I use that for thing that I know will generate a lot of email that I'll just delete without ever reading.

Yes I did all that...but instead of my contacts it takes me to Google Play to download Contacts. Why would i even need to do that? I do not want phone contacts, just the contact info to those I email. Business and some people.

Well - short version I finally got the Contacts to come up. Finally found what I was looking for. Why can Contacts not be off to the side like it is most email sites, vs having to hunt it down ? Thanks to all for you help.

I have too many email accounts on Gmail (Google) both branded and free, most of which I don't need anymore, one on Outlook, and one on an encrypted platform called Tutanota. I haven't liked many of the new changes Google has made, but I still like it better than Outlook. I think I might still have a Yahoo account that I never use anymore. For security Tutanota has been best.

I had a email account way way back in 1990’s when we had the old dial up internet ,I didn’t understand it at all
I only started using the internet about 1996 after buying a embroidery sewing machine where I had to update the sewing machine programs online ,so I bought myself a pack of index cards and wrote myself instructions how to get online and how to go to the bookmarks for email and the sewing sites .

I joined gmail quite some time ago , who recommended a back up account so that’s all I’ve ever had
I’ve never had an issue with it and it’s good for dumping junk

@Gloria Mitchell There are email clients such as Thunderbird, which are free, they can handle multiple email accounts and they also have an address book built in to keep track of your contacts. There is a learning curve with them though and I don't think that Thunderbird will work on a tablet or phone. It's made by Mozilla, the people who make Firefox. Here's a link if you want to read up on it - Thunderbird by Mozilla
