" Perhaps Lonny will adopt a pet mouse." That's some dark humor there, Faye. I don't think Lon will want a sacrificial mouse. I don't think he's that wicked.
Thanks, dark humor is my specialty and remember Lon once drained blood from deceased humans as he talked with them nonchalantly, so sacrificing a mouse or two for Cranberry's pleasure isn't listed in the Tanner book of wickedness.
That one got my stomach shaking and it shouldn't have 'cause it's on the sick side. I think SENIORSonly is corrupting me. SO has some bad people in it. I won't mention names.
From your answer I'm a little vague about where Lon practiced that bloodletting. A funeral home or a morgue or a den of evil satan worshipers? I have a strong urge to put another p in worshipers but spell checker says no. Spellchecker is a secret nazi.
Ella brought a mouse into the house once, seemingly unharmed, and made no attempt to hunt it. She nudged it with her nose as if to say, "This mouse is okay." Perhaps she was hoping to start a mouse colony in the house that she could hunt without having to go outside in the cold winter. In the end, I had to evict her new friend.
Ella says to the mouse family, "You know when I said you could have 8 mice in this nest? Well, I've changed it to 7. One of you will have to come with me."
