Our dining room is open for dinner between 4:30 to 7 PM and closed at 7 PM. I usually go at 5 to 5:30 PM.
PST Lonnie, the same as you. I would certainly join you for a 4:30 dining room dinner but would eat light and take a flask of fine Spanish brandy and a couple of snifters, that is if you partake in such. I would still have to have my 3 PM courtyard wine and cheese. My 3 PM dining especially in moderate weather on my patio, with my patio speakers softly radiating the guitar work of the old masters, is a romantic event for me. Does your courtyard have a music system?
do they allow drinking in your senior facilities? we had one lady in our nursing home that had to have beer with her pizza. lol! i eat at various times. mostly because of my schedule and whenever i finally get around to it. sometimes i don't eat dinner till 10 or 11 at night.
The Courtyard has speakers plus musicians bring their own systems. And yes they allow drinking but not drunks.
We usually eat just one "meal" a day; normally around 4 p.m. or so. Other than that we occasionally have snacks or coffee if we're hungry. Later in the evening we have some type of dessert or fruit while watching TV.
That sounds great! I have only been drunk once in my life and that was 30 years ago. I was sick for 3 days and vowed never again. I am an occasional and very moderate drinker and always with food. Oakmont sounds like a classy place.
For me, it really depends on when or if I've eaten breakfast. Could be anytime from 5 to 8. Or if I go out, I usually skip lunch so eat dinner as more of a late lunch around 2 so I'm not driving back in traffic, then would snack a bit around 7 or 8.
