There must be plenty of it going on. I have been asked a number of times in the past few weeks by a number of organizations to complete a questionaire. They ask if I am happy, am I getting any financial advive from anyone. Have I thought of suicide. etc, etc.

I sure hope not because there is lots more than we realize of it going on . I have seen plenty of videos on it. Hidden camera have shouwn some pretty bad crap going on to the defenseless. IMO old disabled people are no less helpless than children. I took the videos off,but try to protect our future so we won't be in a bad place later on.
Lon looks like you will be ok though since most of these are in low income type homes. But people do stal from care centers too so watch your stuff.
For about the last 10 years the VA and my PHC physician ask me the same questions once a year for my wellness check. Along with that I do the cognitive test, blood test, UA and whatever else they can think of to ask, poke and prod of at the time. Same thing, different day and different year. I do imagine that in a senior residence situation that has quarantined everyone a few times that the question regarding suicide might be a pertinent question though. We’re a social creature and most humans do not like being forced to avoid contact with other humans. Even here in the outside world, thousands of people have resorted to drinking more alcohol, taking more drugs and yes, committing suicide because of depression as a result of the lockdowns.
Well, when it comes to driving, in a way, yes. Many-to-most Seniors will go the speed limit or 5 mph over, while the young generation will go 10 to 15 mph over. When a young generation comes up to a Senior driving the speed limit, and can't get around them, they will tailgate the Senior, honk their horn and even flip them off once they are able to pass. As for wife and I, we have learned to go with the flow of traffic, if possible, so, if that means 10 mph over, will do that. Many young drivers want to go 15 to 20 over the speed limit and we won't do that.
