We call these places "gold mines". My middle daughter here on Long Island has a bakery/ Cafe for the last 7 years. She just started doing well within the last year-and-a-half -- two years. As of today the business is closed this was the last day, she cannot get help. She was a music teacher in a Catholic Elementary School, that closed. Her and my youngest daughter decided to open up this business, my youngest daughter had to leave because of pregnancies. She's planning on selling off the commercial equipment and then I don't know what she's going to do. I feel bad it was 7 years ago my back was a little better and it was a family effort to clean the place set it up paint, carpentry etc.
I almost went down a similar path. I decided the assurances of the corporate world were too much for me to let go of. This has been a tough time for small business owners.
