Wow, tough call. Either Eggs Benedict or sausage gravy (depending on who makes it) over a biscuit with easy-over eggs on the side. Wow, I’m Night Owling it tonight.
I seldom have this, but it is my favorite breakfast. Fresh coffee with cream, bran muffins with raisins, and fresh fruit. Sometimes when I am traveling with my daughter, we stay at a hotel that has a breakfast included; so I slip down early in the morning, have my coffee, muffin, and fruit, and Bobby and I message back and forth about our upcoming day.
I do not have a favorite breakfast, as I eat a wide variety of things not considered breakfast food. Today was honey cornbread muffin with raw honey and a piece of Kentucky Legend ham and coffee
Did someone say "breakfast"? Wife and I are there! For me: 2 eggs, country fries, bacon, ham or sausage (or all of the mentioned), toast and, most definitely a cup or two of coffee. Sometimes will share a Bloody Mary. Wife: waffles or pancakes and a cup of coffee with hot coco mixed in.
My "usual" breakfast is either cereal or a bowl of grits......but my "favorite" breakfast revolves around some tasty thick cut bacon and Belgian waffles with some whipped cream and strawberries on top and a pitcher of Bellinis, served, of course, on my balcony overlooking the clear blue Greek sea by a handsome young waiter named Stavros. Then I wake up and get the box of cereal down and wish I was still asleep...
Since I'm the cook and I can't cook I go for something simple at home like warmed granola bars dunked in coffee. If I'm in a restaurant it's eggs over easy, toast, bacon or sausage, home fries and coffee.
My favorite is country fried steak, biscuits with pepper gravy, two eggs tortured, small butter-soaked red potatoes, chocolate latte, and a slice of tart cherry pie, however, I only have that if eating out and at home the same thing every morning, cottage cheese and applesauce and later natural no sugar unflavored yogurt and almond butter with wildflower honey with coffee and hot chocolate.
I'm usually cereal (high fiber or steel-cut oats) with fruit (strawberry + blueberry + blackberry), or occasionally eggs (over easy or poached) & bacon. When I traveled back to HQ with work, the hotel I stayed at had a full hot food buffet (pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.) I would pass that up when they had lox & bagels with a schmear, red onions and capers. THAT'S my favorite.
Oy! Never saw that at a hotel! I even have trouble finding really good lox. The best I ever had was on a cruise ship and I have been looking ever since.
