Today I made spaghetti carbonara to which I added some finely cut crispy fried bacon and topped off with grated cheese. Yes I do all the cooking
@Bibbi Wright I’m full of admiration for what you achieve despite your disabilities Most of my working life involved assisting / teaching people with disabilities to be independent however in many cases it was a loosing battle because so many just liked to sit and watch with no interest in tackling any challenges like cooking / cleaning /
I rarely eat lunch if I do have something it’s a drink of my milk kefir I make myself and maybe an apple or some other fruit
We had a lot of broccoli, cauliflower and bread cubes left over from yesterday evening’s fondue so I put them in a vegetable broth I made and added some sliced onion and small frankfurter sausages. Put the bread cubes in the oven to make croutons and had those together with the vegetable and frankfurter broth
@Kate Ellery Thanks. I do as much as I can in the house though we do have someone in once a week to do the heavy cleaning, but I can get the washing in and out of our frontloading washing machine and DH hangs it. He shortened the legs on the ironing board for me and I iron whatever needs ironing. Sorry if this was a bit off topic.
Sometimes I'm looking for something really easy to make for lunch I found these chicken white meat pouches made by starkist that come in different flavors and are handy to keep in. I made this pouch on white bread for lunch today.
We went to our favorite Mexican Restaurant, and I had Chile Rellano, with salad and beans, and lots (and lots) of salsa with chips. I love it when we go there ! !
