No I wasn't a dancer. My parents would host Halloween parties, New Year's parties and I was a DJ using my Audio system and records, I'd DJ from when I was about 10 years old. After a while you get to know what song will get people up to dance it was a lot of fun. I have all kinds of music for dancing Peabody, fox-trots, twist, Lindy, cha cha, Pechanga, Mambo, slow dance, the fish, watusi, the stroll, and on and on.
Fun fun fun,we did the stroll too.I can cha cha ,foxtrot aand waltz or I mean I could. Do you liek Roger Whittiker? I just ordered his CD and it came a few weeks ago.'The Last Farewell'is one of my favorites of his.
That's fun! Looks a lot like the 'line dancing' we girls practiced in the gym during lunch hour in ninth grade. But the music was early Beatles, and the boys showed no interest at all.
Currently listening to this week's new Hearts of Space show. https://v4.hos.com/home (Hm. I've once again entirely forgotten how to embed the link...)
Discovered it in the 80's! It's not just weird electronica, there are a lot of genres that take turns appearing. Last week it was cello music, in tune with autumn's 'melancholy mood.'
