Are you in your apartment when it is being cleaned. If not, you are outside your apartment and around anyone? IOW, you had to get this from someone, even someone who, like yourself, has had both vaccine shots. But, at least your not in a hospitals ICU and on a ventilator. Are you taking any kind of medication for what you have?
Well, Hal, if Lon got around anyone at all, for any reason, he could get either Covid 19 or the Variant.
I stay in my apartment when they clean it and the cleaner wears a face shield. I am taking a number of different pills, some twice a day.
Most people do okay with it, so I'll be praying you'll be in the majority, Lon. My older brother and his wife had it, and they're about your age. They did okay, and they weren't vaccinated either.
Good! I'm a lot younger than you (71) but I do worry somewhat. I'm not vaxxed, 5'10" 165 pounds, only negative is high blood pressure, which is under control with meds. But I'm out and about for lunch or shopping 6-7 days a week. So far so good. I've been on a B12 supplement since 2008, and several years ago my doc said I was also low on vitamin D. So I've also been on that since, and a few months ago I added C and zinc to the list. All the non-mainstream sources I have say these supplements can help from getting real sick. Melatonin is also supposed to help, and I've been taking that for 3 or so years to help with insomnia. Fingers are crossed, so far so good.
Interesting----Iwas taking ALL the same supplements as you when I was dx'd with COVID. I am feeling good now this morning since having a big breakfast and having taken the recovery drugs for four days. QUESTION ---Why have you avoided the VACC?
I had symptoms this past weekend and requested testing which proved positive. I was the only one that requested testing. No other residents were tested this past weekend. I am feeling OK now.
Will the Asst. Living require it's residents to get the Covid 19 Booster, especially those that haven't got the virus yet? We will be getting ours this month.
