We went for pizza to a place called Hungry Howies, they have a salad bar, soda station, pasta, choice of soups and pizza with many choices of toppings, It kind of reminded me of Chuck E. Cheese’s but it was OK.
An Italian hero made with Sopressata, Ham Capocollo, and Genoa Salame with Deli Spicy Mustard on Italian Bread. The cold cuts are a three pack called Artisian Collection I purchased at BJ's this morning.
I made minute beef rolls - the slices of beef have to be wafer thin with a smear of French mustard and stuffed with onions, pickled cucumber and bacon all finely diced, boiled potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and a cream based gravy. Fiddly job, it takes me forever to dice the filling and then roll the beef slices.
Just a comment. I don't like any kind of Whole Wheat Bread. I've tried all that's offered in our stores. It al,l tastes awful to me. I've eaten a whole grain white I like but whole grain is not the same as whole grain.
I agree I don't like whole grain wheat either, I enjoy mostly white bread, I particularly like country white, or butter top white.
I am just the opposite, I do not like the taste of white bread, although I remember eating it as a child. My most favorite whole wheat bread is Dave’s Killer Bread, which is made for healthful whole grains, and seeds. They have several different types, and I enjoy all of them. They do cost more than regular whole wheat bread, but they are so much better that they are worth the extra money.
I never heard of Daves Killer Bread. Not seen in this part of the country. Give me a soft white sandwich bread and I'm happy.
I like Arnold's whole wheat, but it's likely not really. I've often tried to make whole wheat bread and it's just way too dense for any digestive system to process.
