Will try to find it. I keep saying old people have a lot of interesting stuff to put out there. I will find out when I get old.
We absolutely love action movies and comedies. Like: Under Siege, Last Vegas, Last Stand, Grownups, Get Smart, U571, The Hunt For Red October, Bringing Down The House and numerous others.
I don't have the 'forget' problem now a days I have plenty of reminders.. I've been looking for another good movie to wtch last few days to mindoff one of the 'reminders'. Hubby wanted to watch "Silkwood" again since its been decades since we first saw it.If we can find it ,only found trailer so far.
A good action movie is Fury from 2014. It's a good showcase of the horrors of war in WW2 Germany close to their surrender. It doesn't attempt a happy ending. I liked Brad Pitt in it.
The trailer doesn't do this movie justice,it is the true story of Johann Strauss has a little of everything drama, history and romance. One of my 3 favorite movies of all time. Even hubby liked it and he is not much into these type movies.
I usually stick to free movies but this one is only $2 to rent. I'll watch it today on your recommendation.
Even my grandkids liked it when they were toddlers, it has a little of everything some of history on things going on in the era.
I remember a cartoon I saw before I was six where a fawn meets a stone satyr from a fountain who comes alive when the sun goes down. The animation was superb. The background music was Tales From The Vienna Woods. They frolic in the woods until the sun comes up. When the satyr turns back to stone the fawn still tries to play with him. It was so sad I cried. I've hunted for that cartoon online with no luck. They don't make them like that anymore.
