I need to have 8 more pulled for full top plate aand partial bottom. Couple weeks ago I had 3 pulled at once but since my neck is out I cancelled appt a couple days ago. Can't take the no sleep,neck,shoulder arm pain and pulling teeth at same time. I wish I could stand to sitthrew all 8 left two are wisdom. I got a black eye from eye tooth being pulled by Oral surgion who pulled the last 3.Plus still a little sore. So here I sit toothless,black eye and mean.
I had my remaining 20 pulled all at once under just the influence of the happy pill and local. It took 20 minutes. Not pleasant but better than an extra $2500 for the oral surgeon.
Oh my your a brave lady,and your right about the price.But I am afraid of pills. I don't always feel good when they calm me down,panic. And I don't want to be knocked out so they just use local anestesia.
I went thru that same stuff....I had 8 at last...had top dentures since age 30 something...after 8 got yanked..I waited for bottom plate...oh...a year or so..no more shrinkage and all fit ...perfect... ill be thoughtful of you and this process
Good news ,thsnk you.My next ppt is Nov.2nd.I'm a wuss and right now I leaning over with ice pack on my neck that feels like its broken,eating soup with noodle I'm gummin, trying to see with paart of vision gone,I just hopr nothing else like this is on fates menu for awhile.I told hubby not to look in my direction just go by memory of a few decades ago.

My mother told of a lady friend who insisted on getting ALL teeth extracted at one sitting. This of course was before antibiotics. The lady died. Frank
Thanks Frank, i am not going past 3. Had 3 pulled last visit and one before that. and that was bad enough. So I'll have 3 more appt.s to make.

Thank you Bibi. I may just have to pretend I'm somebody else to go in and get it done. Hubby is on the porch chasing little frogs because it rained last night the porch is covered in them. So he scoops thme up in a net and puts them outside,if not the ants will eat them. Sometimes you can't walk without stepping on them. The ground is covered.
if a disc is bulging.that ice is the trick... people say they have a crik in their neck..when it happens...it feels like a crooked river.....let us know
