I don't really see any similarities at all between Trump and Jesus. It baffles me that so many evangelicals support a person who in my view models the exact opposite of Christian values and of basic human decency.

As for Trump not being part of 'globalism,' I'd say that the chaos his past and current behavior creates is accelerating the inevitable movement in that direction. I say 'inevitable' because with clinical psychopaths being born naturally into the general population at the rate of 1%, there's no shortage of contenders for inclusion among the 'top 1%' of the most wealthy and powerful individuals in the world.

Demonstrably, Trump sees only Trump, and looks out only for Trump. Jesus reportedly had compassion for the poor and for the marginalized and for the despised. The expression of 'Christ Consciousness' is Christianity's prime reason for being. Hurling rage and mockery at 'the Libs' or conversely at the 'MAGA crazies' in no way fits that paradigm.

The correlation that I get out of it has nothing to do Christianity but rather a remark regarding people who are persecuted for going against the grain of a power driven organization whose lifestyle is being somehow threatened.

Jesus wasn’t a “trained” person of the Levitical strain and Trump isn’t a “trained” politician but both were falsely accused in one way or the other for “heresy” (loosely used) at the hands of those whose power was and is being threatened.

I don't see Trump as any sort of useful 'reformer', but rather as a possibly unwitting tool of the Corporate Autocracy he's oddly perceived as somehow opposing. Mentioning Jesus as having been similarly 'attacked' as a threat to religion and state seems irrelevant to me! The linking of religious and political views in this way seems particularly deceptive and dangerous.

People can read into things anyway they wish to and either take offense, sit on the bench or agree.
I can see your side of it if the premise were to be a link between faith and the secularism but I just do not draw that same conclusion merely because the premise I am tuned to is a comparative study between the falsely persecuted.
I do not see Trump being raised to the same level as the Christ Jesus nor Jesus being lowered to any of mankind especially D. Trump.
It’s a comparison of people in power and how they’ve dealt with someone who has marginalized them.

If the comparison were to be between those falsely accused of some diabolical actions on Jan 6th and the false accusations about Trump and his association with the Russians during the 2016 elections [and subsequent events leading up to his impeachment] then it might have been more palatable to some.

Just went and watched that clip, and it sounds pretty true to reality, as far as toxic capitalism goes. But I still don't see any advantage to anyone's well-being, left or right, when it comes to Trump! It's one thing for a career politician like Biden to try --- and fail --- to fix something that's unfixable, and something else entirely for a non-politician like Trump to actively seed civil disruption.

I seriously do not understand the support Trump commands. I grew up in a mainstream-conservative blue-collar family who thought Eisenhower was the best President ever, and considering what's happened since, I'd almost have to agree.

I liked Eisenhower too or what I knew of him.
'Ok illegal supporters hide your eyes' he did what should be done today, Operation Wetback and then some.We have 150 nations invading us now. Lets see how ll the libs like it when them or their family can't find a doctor or even food and water which is now known as the blue gold since much of whats not absent is polluted.

Sorry, I just don't see Trump as a victim in any of this, and certainly not falsely accused. He lost the election, as per his own appointed judges and state officials. His persistence in the lie serves, willfully or not, to inflame violence and unrest, as clearly seen in videos of January 6th. As for the Russians, I can't prove that my sources of information on that issue are accurate, any more than you can prove the same to me. Bottom line, it's a stalemate. One person's absolute Truth is another's Big Lie.

I do understand that the killers ans looters obeying this lunatic were " just peaceful protesters" killing burning and looting though.
Jan 5th was a chuch meetin in comparison to these thugs who were not only enticed to crush kill and destroy but got away with it all.
    Not being mean just saying,

When you consider all the 'dirty tricks' our CIA visited upon third-world countries around the world during the Cold War, and equivalent tactics by the Soviets, it's almost a karmic thing that's happening now.

By stunting and exploiting emerging governments and economies, and saddling them with resource-draining loans, developed countries set the stage for this so-called invasion. Debt to the World Bank is just like any sort of debt, in that it impoverishes the citizenry of any country which accepts those loans, in the same way that a family can be impoverished by credit card 'loans.'

So how is it that because their leaders sold them out to the highrest bidder 'America' that we are the only ones to blame? Its not our fsult these people still iive in huts and boxes.Treat their own people bad.Of course someody will take the resources just sitting there wasting.
Now I don't totally agree with what gose on like McDonalds pushing people out into the deserts to raise their cattle so we can buy a happy meal cheaper.
But only the strong survive in this world and thats just the eay it is and so now that we let the comminist in power we are the weak and our time is here to pay the piper for being foolish.Empires come and empires go and basically for the same reasons.
Humpty Dumpty is falling aka Roman Empire inspired like the pocket full of roses was inspired by the Holacaust.Jews would carry rose pedals in their pockets to communicate with other Jews.
Kay Sera Sera is all I can say. I have no power.
