i like to take canned biscuits and fry them in oil---put them in a lunch bag with a little sugar--let them cool a little- they are good
When hubby got injured he took over my kitchen so what I taught him he liked to improve on. He is a great baker of cakes ,cookies and scratch biscuits now. He likes two ingrediant biscuits, flour sour cream and if not wet enough from he will add a tad of water, thats it.They are great the first day but not as good the next but most of the time he makes my kind of buttermilk or just water, grease biscuits which are good too.
Bear Claws are my favorite unfortunately they wreck havoc with my gluclose levels, then again you only live once might as well enjoy yourself on the way out.
Griddle Me This The Grillswith Original Recipe:. "Fry two honey-dipped doughnuts in your fat of choice (butter) on the griddle for a few minutes on each side until browned and crisp. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream." The dish was born in the late 1940s or early 1950s at the University Diner, Charlottesville, VA, which opened in 1930. Now gone.
