I think that it is quite possible that he has his cell phone, but maybe not the charger, and unless he can find someone who can charge it for him, Lon probably has no way to communicate, assuming that he is in a condition to do so. If we do not hear anything, I will call the hospital again later this week and see if there is any new information.
No reply to my email as of today. I doubt the hospital will tell anyone anything unless they are family.
If someone is calling the hospital, why not just ask for Lon's room?? If he doesn't answer then maybe a relative will.
We'll now I find out what kind of immunity I have to the virus. My son came back from a wedding in Arizona and came here for Sunday dinner a day after his return. He began to get ill on Monday morning and got his positive test results back this morning--positive for Covid. Wife and I are self-quarantining so we will see how we come through this. I am sure we have been exposed somewhere during the past 18 months, but never so close and inside a home. Everyone I know who has come down with Covid here has been inside an airplane in the week or so prior. It supports my belief that the fancy HEPA air filtration and the constant mask wearing so absolutely nothing to protect travelers.
I share Beths good wishes and also your post just adds to the pile of evidence that hand contact is how it is mostly spread.
Fingers crossed for your son and for the both of you that you don’t come down with this covid. Best wishes.
