Is The Garden Scarecrow Extinct?

Our crows would just think its a new perch, of course thats not always a good thing for a crow if the farmer has a good aim.

 

Crows won't land on him. He's a conductor.

 

Definitely not extinct in this neck of the woods, just totally ineffective. As soon as he comes indoors the birds are back
