I wasn't really big on toys, even as a little kid I preferred books and records.
Two toys I liked a lot, though, were Colorforms ( a vinyl alternative to paper dolls) and a Troll house like this and Trolls. colorforms.jpg troll house inside closeup.jpg

I had Colorforms (they came in different cartoon-character options), as well as a couple of Trolls.

Mostly tricycles and bikes,we lived in the country with lakes, woods so built tree houses swam most of the time. Or plyed with animals like equine. And we loved to jump rope.

Not quite like this but we did jump rope often,

Have you seen what seems to be a rather new invention- shoes that have wheels on the bottom?
I wonder if they're available for adults!!

Joanna, those ads are from 1948. Yes, some of us Boomers predate zip codes. And a lot of other things. :D
