This is the email I received: ************************************************* Friends, I’m running for the U.S. Senate because America is sick, and we need a doctor to cure our country. I’m Dr. Oz -- I’m a world-class surgeon, fighter, and health care advocate. I’ve spent the last 30 years in medicine taking on powerful special interests and telling people like it is - that you have the power to change your life for the better. Now, I’m running for the U.S. Senate to take on the out-of-touch Washington establishment and to fight for policies that empower the American people to change our country for the better. WATCH MY ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO HERE! I know the truth, the data, and the science about combatting COVID and understand how it affects you and your family. While Washington elites tell you to stay inside and mask up, I’ve been putting my expertise to work on our behalf. I won’t stand by on the sidelines while out-of-touch politicians force our businesses to shut down and keep our children out of schools. The federal government exists to protect you - not control you. Whether it’s modernizing health care so it’s more affordable and accessible, fighting for more school choice for all Americans, protecting us by securing our borders and stopping illegal immigration, telling the truth about corporate America like how pharmaceutical companies charge too much for prescription drugs, or making sure people know the truth about COVID, I’m promising to help re-light the “divine spark” inside every American and empower us to live better lives. ************************************************* Who knows what motives lurk in the hearts of men?
He resides in New Jersey but he's using his mother-in-law's (I believe) address for residency status. We'll see how that flies. The field is crowded. I would vote for any non-career politicians including Oz.
Depends on his motive. Maybe he's looking for more celebrity, or maybe he's angry at how our nation is being destroyed...or maybe something else entirely. Better Oz that some nth generation Kennedy or Clinton or Bush...or local-to-PA dynasty. Or maybe not. I know nothing of the guy other than I found his show to be vacuous and uninformative the few times I watched.
Well, let’s see. Since I’ve never seen his show and I can’t vote for him anyway, all I can do is to write what I do know and have found out. He’s not a career politician and he has a net worth of around $100 million. He’s running as a conservative and seems to understand the present issues e.g. open border, government mandates, pharm prices He’s used to saying what he thinks so that might be a plus and by announcing his candidacy he’s not afraid of alienating his TV audience. He invented a heart valve which shows that he does have some initiative and foresight at least in the medical world. Thus far he looks pretty clean in that he hasn’t gotten drunk and drowned anyone or solicited sex from a minor or raped anyone at a frat party. He’s a Muslim….kind of. Sufi Muslim with leanings toward Protestantism. Sorta. U EDIT: What I am most interested in is what any of the would be Congresspeople’s stance is on Voter I.D. From what I can see, Oz hasn’t issued a statement on that front as of yet.
Which could hamper any chance Oz has since she apparently took a couple of trips on the Lolita Express.
I didn't know Dr. Oz and Oprah were ever in cahoots. Are you thinking about that fraud, that sickening charlatan, the pompous, sensationalist, steaming piece of soggy cow poo, and not a medical doctor, Phil?
According to this article Oprah was instrumental in Dr Oz having his own show. https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/oprah-winfrey-attacked-online-over-dr-ozs-run-for-senate/
