Saw this in PJ Media: Fox News’ November ratings are out, and they spell bad news for late-night comedy…or good news if you’re sick of politically correct narrative-pushing virtue-signalers like Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon. Greg Gutfeld’s late-night show Gutfeld! has beaten both Kimmel and Fallon in total viewers in the 11 p.m. ET timeslot. More at source. I am happty to see two of the most unfunny, asshat, liberal lickspittles on TV take the hit from Greg. This is a small glimmer of light in the otherwise dark scenario of TV propaganda trying to disguise itself as comedy.
I’ve caught his show on many occasions on YouTube. Whilst I do definitely like Gutfield, his metaphors do get a bit boring after so many of them fired off in a single paragraph but that said, I can see why he’d beat out Kimmel and especially Fallon.
Yes, those late-night clowns really got disgusting in recent years, although I never watched them much anyway. The hosts are a generation or two younger than me, guests were also unknown young people. Humor was dumb. Then they got all left-wing political. I watch old Johnny shows once in a while, and he was such a gentleman. Of course he always had a lot of political jokes but they were light-hearted and I don't think he ever offended anyone.
Didn't Leno come out and say that he did not like Fallon as his replacement...something about the guy being mean or nasty? Neither Fallon nor Kimmel have any real intellect...it's all snarky, mean, derisive vacuous garbage with no substance whatsoever...and all the "cool kids" laugh along with it, 'cause they wanna be hip, too. Then they play silly games that basically say "I'm in my 20s and 30s and am never gonna grow beyond high school." Carson was a gentleman because Carson--for all his human frailties--had the confidence of being an adult with a brain.
I am sound asleep by the time he comes on but have seen him on The Five several times. He seems to have a sense of humor, some common sense and not be anyone's media puppet.
Now I wish I had satellite TV so I can hear Gutfeld's sarcastic response to this news...like he's not impressed to be the tallest guy on the Wizard of Oz set.
Personally I can't stand any of 'em, but I'm impressed that Gutfeld beat out the 2 morons on network TV. He gets on my nerves but my husband watches his show some nights.
I am surprised that Colbert wasn't mentioned. Is he too low to be considered, or is he outdrawing the others? He was a big disappointment for me, as people had told me he was intelligent, so I expected someone smart to replace the less-than-intelligent Letterman. What he was/is is a clown/buffoon with no intellect at all apparent. I don't think he is quite as stupid as Kimmel, but it is close. I haven't really watched any since Leno left, and, even though he is a Leftist, he is known far and wide as being a nice man and a good friend to those who know him.
The last time I happened across any ratings on Colbert was in August. Gutfield was closing in on him then. Don't know about now. I have never watched the guy's show. What little I've seen of him, it looks like his mental clock is missing a gear or two.
I am not sure if they have Gutfield on this app or not, but it looks like they have most of the main programs like Hannity and Tucker Carlson (and more); so if they do not already have Greg Gutfield’s late night show on the app, they surely will add it on. This is a free app that you can get with your iPhone, @John Brunner . https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fox-nation/id1419779267
That, of course, means that you should start thinking about getting an iPad, the epitome of Apple Devices.
LOL! I was trying to think how to word how I feel about Gutfield, and thanks to you Bobby, you said it perfectly!! I especially love his crew also especially the big guy I can't remember his name
I admit to being curious about Apples but when I was still employed I had used a Mac Desktop. I had to learn how to use it of course since I was had my own PC I became very attached to. I might enjoy having one just to learn something new, I'll see the price on them. What is yours Yvonne, model name and #?? I like the keyboard, it looks a little like my chromebook, I mean the whole Ipad I am betting your Ipad weighs a lot less than my Chromebook 3 at 2.6 lbs
I can see Carson again on the Roku Channels Live-streaming. You probably know about that, and one of my faves was when he had Ed Ames (Mingo from Daniel Boone) on there:
