Yvonne's Job As Moderator Explained

As a former cowgirl myself, I am taking the liberty to break it down for you all.

 

You left out "herding cats."

 

Breaking up catfights is Ken's responsibility and not in Yvonne's job description.

Haven't you heard the expression, "it's like herding cats?" (i.e., getting people to stay on topic is like herding cats.)

 

Honestly, I haven't, or else I forgot. It does make sense hahaha! I have heard the saying "like driving baby ducks" to water for a fun thread that attracts a lot of activity and "like baby ducks farting on a big pond" for an ineffective long-winded boring post.

 

@Faye Fox - did I miss something? What prompted a thread about this?

 

Sheer boredom I suppose. Maybe just missing Lon. Honestly, I don't know. I ran across some interesting horse photos and my mind drifted off the beaten path.

 

Everybody's gotta be somewhere.

 

I recon @Yvonne Smith has a pretty easy job cause we are all so well behaved , well maybe we get a little outta hand on games at times.
