All of the news about the submersible “Titan” disappearing when it was on a trip to view the Titanic remains has started up new interest in the actual wreck of the Titanic. Apparently, many of the survivors who were interviewed didn’t mention an iceberg, they talked about hearing an explosion. There are just a lot of strange things about the sinking of the Titanic, including the old newspaper reports about it not sinking and being towed into Halifax and all of the passengers rescued. The ship’s hull was the same thickness of steel as the modern ice-breaker ships, so an iceberg should not have broken open the ship like it did. Since it hit an iceberg, I had supposed that it was much further north when it sank, but when you look at the map, it was actually only a few hundred miles off of the shore of North America, and fairly close to New York. I didn’t think that we had icebergs that close to the United States.
This might belong in another forum here... Conspiracy theories abound. There are people claiming that this has been faked so the billionaires can "go live on an island somewhere" because they were involved in illegal activities. Human trafficking was thrown out there as a possibility.
