Mine is hanging on my garage wall as some Citizen Kane prop. The last word I shall whisper is gonna be "Motobécane."
I like making 2d and 3d games. There are a lot of free game engines and unlimited sources to build fun games. I have several engines but my favorite is Construct 3, my first license was version 2 but it has been discontinued and the new version 3 is now the new engine. I can build a game very fast using C3. I have 5 pinball games and a couple other fun little games. Most 2d games are always tiled and low resolution so they play well on mobile but I make mine for desktop so I can use high resolution and you would be surprised what can be accomplished in 2d. I'll gather a couple images of my finished games and post them. I recently moved all my unused things to storage so I have to plan ahead to use anything or find anything ;0)
It's amazing how far computer languages have come. At my first job, the programmers were coding in Assembly, which is down at the bit level. I've been amazed at how such advancement tends to negate the benefit of experience, while it concurrently opens up the door to folks with aptitude yet minimal hours behind the keyboard.
Years ago, I used to make text adventure games, and still kick around the idea since there is a sizable group of people who are interested and writing new stuff, as well as new game editors to help bring the process about without coding them from scratch, as I had to do then.
