I trust you've all seen that as of Dec. 31st, the CDC will withdraw the use of PCR testing for covid, admitting the test does not differentiate between the flu and COVID. I'd say this latest admission is convenient given that (1) they knew this long ago and (2) they've gotten the sheep sufficiently scared to go ape for jabs. As late as several weeks ago, they were still using PCR tests around here. When I went in for my BP check several weeks back, the doctor's office insisted the test was reliable when I told them it wasn't. So much for medical professionals having a clue, or having the balls to tell the truth rather than spout and party line.

@John West Where did you find that the PCR cannot differentiate between Covid and the flu? That certainly should be possible if the sequencing was correct out of China. Testing may not be able to differentiate between the strains of Covid, although if it cannot do that, I have no idea how they are tracking these variants. PCR simply amplifies what is found and the sensitivity is determined by the number of cycles that are used. There are other less-known amplification technologies out there, but PCR is the most well known. The accuracy of the testing is determined by the tools used in the amplification.

CDC Alert. This is not really new news.

Never mind, I found it on the CDC website in a bulletin from July. The influenza comment was irrelevant, as PCR is used for influenza testing as well. Apparently, from what I gather, the original template used was for only one strain of Covid and one strain of MERS corona virus, but the number of variants developing has included mutations within the chain of nucleic acids chosen to develop the template, thus making it not really complete reliable. The same could probably be said for the rapid tests out there as well. They are probably using some amplification method to monitor the various strains, but that is not practical for use in the "field", i.e., state and commercial labs as a whole.

I tried your experiment today. I tried it with several magnets, small ones, large ones, thick ones, thin ones, strong ones and weak ones. I tried to stick spoons to my arm, light ones and heavy ones. I stuck one to a magnet and it stuck but it didn't stick to my arm. I don't have a peso so I couldn't try that.

Could you perhaps repeat your experiment and post pictures to prove that she is stupid?

Yep, like my doc telling me that natural immunity wasn't much good.

A few minutes after that I told him that "the establishment" has lost a lot of credibility with a lot of people -- including me.

Pretty sure he already knew that, but I had to tell him anyway.

I just read an article that says the CDC dropped PCR testing from their end-of-isolation guideline (cut back to 5 days of isolation from 10) because people could still test positive for up to 12 weeks using that test! This was disclosed by the Director of the CDC on Wednesday's episode of Good Morning America. Apparently the CDC knew this to be the case as early as July...likely all along, according to some, but at least for 6 months.

Makes me wonder how many man-years were lost due to 84 days of isolation rather than 10 during the past 2 years, and how much misery has been intentionally caused. They're not dropping the test because of virus confusion, they and are now in Election Year damage control mode. Lives have intentionally been damaged.

Yeah, the PCR (or any amplification test) cannot tell a viable virus from a non-viable (I hate "live" and "dead" when referring to things that are never alive), so a so-called positive test could just be picking up virus that has been inactivated by your natural or induced immunity. It is not a problem with the test but with the use of the test and the interpretation of the results. Also, the Omicron is not making many people sick, and the vaccinated appear to be more likely to contract it than the non-vaccinated, despite what you hear. They can't tell the truth on that because they want everyone vaccinated. Now they are starting to drum up fears about a newly emerging influenza virus--another H1N5 I think--that has only appeared in birds as far as I know, but they are beating the "pandemic drums" about this virus that hasn't caused a problem yet. I guess they are trying to keep the fear level up.

Speaking of keeping the fear level up, we are witnessing what appears to be an outbreak of mass hysteria and stupidity. The newsreaders have been breathlessly hyping the many miles of cars waiting in line for covid testing. Interviews of these people seemed to indicate that most did not feel sick or have any symptoms. Thus, the question - Why would you spend hours in your car waiting to get tested if you didn't feel ill or sick? The answer almost seems too obvious.

Healthy people lining up to get a test to tell them they are healthy. Is that stupid or ignorant

I vote for ignorance born out of an inability to think critically while experiencing a degree of innate hypochondria. Of course, allowing oneself to get into such a state seems inherently stupid.

I saw where someone recorded a video of such lines in his town. In the meantime, people who really need to be tested are subject to standing in long lines with lots of people for 2-4 hours, if they can get that close to the facility in the first place.

Overwhelm The Systems...isn't that one of the tactics? This is why Biden sent out all those test kits and then handed the chaos off to the states.

Thanks [again] for the explanation. One of the changes was to reduce the isolation duration by half (to 5 days.) I could find no reference to any study or substantiation as to what point the likelihood of transmitting this to others dramatically drops off, either early on or to support this change. I would not put it past those bastards to do something that kept infections going right into the elections.

edit to add: I just found an article where Fauci explained it: “The purpose of it [the reduction in isolation]was, that given the wave, the extraordinary unprecedented wave of infections that we are experiencing now and will certainly experience more of in the next few weeks, that there is the danger that there will be so many people who are being isolated who are asymptomatic for the full ten days that you could have a major negative impact on our ability to keep society running.

Follow the science, huh? Gee, refer to my prior statement regarding bastards and keeping infections going, etc.
