Went to my local health food store to pick up a few things....While there I got talking to one of employees and when I told her I'd not been jabbed she congratulated me..... Very unusual for that to happen since I live in one of the baaa, baaa towns in Miane.
I wonder if the health food folks are less cavalier with what they put into their bodies than the general population. I got my haircut today and the woman (about my age) who cuts my hair (and took over the small business from the prior owner) is anti-max/unjabbed. She tells me she's tested already had it...a couple of weeks ago her doctor told her she had strep throat (she knew the doc was wrong) and when she later got tested in prep for shoulder surgery, she popped positive. Her doctor told her if she was gotten the test a couple of days later she would have popped negative. She's pretty "straight-forward" with those who come in to get their hair done, ask if she's vaxxed, and are upset to learn she's not. The other woman who cuts hair had the classic story of the vaxxed in her household catching The Crud while the unvaxxed have not.
I don't think you've got to be anti-vax in order to not want to be vaccinated if you've already had Covid. Dr. Fauci aside, common sense indicates that natural immunity is more effective than a vaccine, and there's no sensible reason to be vaccinated if you've got natural immunity.
If that was because of my comment, I fat-fingered it...my barber's anti-MASK (meaning she won't wear one anymore.) These idiots have my head so full of their mantras I guess I did a hybrid without thinking. Of course you don't have to be against vaccines in order to be selective (I think that describes a lot of us here), nor do you really have to be "against" this one in order to decline it. I gotta say that there has been so much intentional destruction of trusts, that if some of the adult vaccines I've already received been offered in the middle of this mess, I would declined them. I will not allow any medical professional to inject me with anything in this environment, nor am I sure I ever will again (I got a tetanus booster coming up and I think I'm gonna pass.) There are transplant patients being taken off of waiting lists if they refuse the jab...one of them by the medical conglomerate that dominates my region. It horrifies me to see this happen, and I truly think those men and women would be as guinea pigs if they have mRNA-modifying injections before receiving a foreign organ. In whose world is that sane (or humane)?
I figured that, @John Brunner. As I pointed out early in this mess, I am not wholly opposed to vaccinations, although I am skeptical, particularly in that I believe that vaccinations are used more often than reasonable, and that mandated vaccinations are particularly intrusive, and an abhorrent violation of human rights. These are choices that I should make for myself, and which you should be able to make for yourselves. I didn't become opposed to these vaccinations until the actions of those who were promoting them forced me to become concerned. There were too many obvious lies, and the push for a mandate superseded any honest attempts at persuasion. The whole thing reminded me too much of the guy who calls you on the phone to sell you something and tells you that you have only five minutes to make a decision. That sounds like a scam, and this whole thing felt like a scam. As a result, the rich have gotten richer, and the elite has become more powerful, while the rest of us have grown more dependent and subservient to our government. As a whole, the people have gotten dumber and proud of their stupidity.
The woman (Susan) who cuts my hair is a good ol' girl from West Virginia. When the prior owner of the barber shop/hair salon decided to retire, Susan was gonna buy the business but the owner wanted too much...so Susan waited for the lease to expire and she picked it up, renamed the business, kept all the customers that were loyal to the location, and bought the equipment from the prior owner for a song. Susan's COVID/vax conversation reminded me of this:

Our mandate for mask wearing will end on Feb 13, but if we feel it necessary, will continue to wear one. It still seems like each and every time we go into a grocery store or eat in a restaurant, we both end up with diarrhea later.

My wife was not a Cvid patient but Covid protocols, established by hospital, wouldn't allow me to see her until she was within 24 hours of dying. I never got to see her in anything but a vegetative state about 1/2 hour before she breathed her last.
Yes I know...The hospital sent me an email with a video show how much they cared. So I posted it on FB with this video in a comment section
