I don't see another thread on this, and I did look. To me this is important so I am posting it. It's always wonderful to see all the supporters, but I admit that I am not too sure this will do any good. I still support them though, it's just the crowds show one thing and give me hope, but it never seems to be enough. I look at what happened in Canada, but I also see that our people are planning to do things differently, at least that's the plan. I guess we'll see. God bless every one of them though, and God knows these are amongst the most needed in our "shipping" industry:
As a veteran of the 1971 antiwar protests, I know that it is pretty easy to bring Washington DC traffic to a standstill. There aren't a lot of options for getting in and out of the city.
So you're saying the truckers will be in trouble when they drive into DC? I should know more about 1971 Ken, I graduated that year though and all I wanted to do was party. Never thought twice about politics or government When does a protest become unlawful exactly, I mean I know about violence, but what about parking, clogging traffic? I know they of course plan to leave room for emergency traffic, but I don't know much else at this point. I think them crossing the country and exciting people to be sure and vote, stand up for their rights is awesome. I just don't know about big trucks going into cities etc. I really think I would do it different, and just cross-country, sort of rallies like Trump does etc. The more I think about it, there just aren't going to be that many citizens in DC. They are already coming in contact with tons of the "little" people that want to be heard, like me.
This is pretty cool but I think I am feeling discouraged this a.m. I get my hopes up and see so many wonderful people fighting for what is right, and then somehow the democrats worm their way out of their corruption and remain holding the power. https://thelibertydaily.com/the-ame...ed-two-powerful-conservatives-to-their-ranks/
