On the news, a big country is attacking a small country in Eastern Europe, monopolizing the news. But in Canada, the protest by truckers is making permanent the tools of freezing bank accounts, sharing financial info with law enforcement...Permanent to use against anyone the government chooses. For demonstrating, the truckers' insurance is cancelled. Doesn't that make them unemployable? Are they not free to demonstrate? Did they hurt anyone? The people who sent support are also in danger of the 'tools' of the government. I thought about it but could not figure where to send after 'go fund me' took the money donated. Would my account have been frozen for wanting to help a cause I believed in; The end of gov't mandates with so much competing information around. I had ordered new garage doors in August. I had paid for them. But I did not get them until Christmas because of 14 day quarantines of truckers at each stop. Confusion still swirls about vaccine efficacy. At home Biden just made an executive order to push forward his plan for US digital currency to control us financially in every way possible. To be overseen by TA-DA, The Federal Reserve! The same consortium of private banks who destroyed the value of our dollar when it was paper money. How much better will they do with fake money in the ether when they are the only ones who know how much 'money' there is?
Everything happening now is scary. The stuff in Canada was a trial run for the U.S. There are a few more obstacles here than in Canada, but the plans are there. Peaceful truckers were condemned and punished severely, thus proving the point of their demonstration, but the same people punishing the truckers were lauding the BLM folks who were lotting and burning businesses.
One thing for sure, we all live in a mighty rough world. And, very little-to-nothing can be done about it. But, then again, during Vietnam era, things were rough also. Protests, protests and move protests. Many protests getting rough. IOW, many protests are peaceful, but, many time, the ones that aren't peaceful have to be delt with.
The short view is that the present leadership in the U.S., Canada and even Australia appear to want totalitarian socialist governments and the only way to correct the process is to remove the leadership. How we change that leadership is still in the wind. I just pray that things can be handled peacefully before the wind turns into a storm like many are already preparing for.
OK but missles (sp?) have just been fired upon one of our consulates in Iraq and instead of news screaming about this, we hear crickets. If we are being attacked, we don't have the leadership to actually defend. We are found out.

Therein lies the problem I saw the news about the missile attack last night on NEWSMAX as well as some videos on You-tube. We have a bunch of people who believe whatever is told to them by coprprste media. My son-in-law, at my wife's funeral luncheon, would not discuss anything that was not on CNN.

They are now finding the short term efficacy of vaccines so more and more of them will be needed. My immediate family is in line instead of looking to build their immunity. More viruses can follow. Everything about the attack sounds wrong or at least, the way the media is reporting it does. First, missiles can be programmed to hit a designated target whilst rockets cannot. Missiles are mostly long range whilst rockets are more for short range targets and highly inaccurate. If the consulate was the target then how come they missed if they used missiles? It’s been called a revenge hit by Iran for Israel firing upon Syrian targets but what has that to do with firing upon an American target in Iraq? If it was because of our alliance with Israel then why not go for the American consulate in Israel or better, the embassy in Jerusalem? Our hesitancy to involve ourselves with such an attack tells me that there’s a possibility that a disgruntled group in Iraq did the deed and Iran is covering for them. Iran knows that if we retaliate against them then Russia, Iran’s radioactive materials supplier, will probably step in. Dunno.
This being a senior forum, I hope the world holds together long enough for us all to complete out allotted time on earth in relative peace , after which it can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned.
The NO LEADERSHIP of America is just plain shameful. I sincerely hope every person that knew what he was and still voted for him, pay a hundred dollars per gallon for gasoline. What you are witnessing are our enemies who are cowards when we actually have Presidents who are strong and Proud. Today they are going to start WWIII so be sure and pound those bastards into oblivion and maybe just maybe we will still be around after the smoke clears. It won't happen with those two in the white house nor the military leaders in the general staff, you've seen how corrupt they are already by calling our enemy and giving him a heads up! Now would be a good time to invest in some type of underground shelter than can be stocked with dry goods and drinking water. It would take two to three weeks for the radiation to clear enough to poke your head outside. Unless of course you happen to be at ground zero. Too bad I don't live in Alvarado I could go make a deal with the owners of my old launch site and I would move into that 7x7 room with the one and half foot blast door. I might still die but I wouldn't be incinerated, the old bases were removed from target list a long time ago . This image is what the room looked like at all the Nike Sites, nothing was different and all bases were mirrored including all equipment, you could move right in to your assigned duty and not be lost. The console is not the launching control but the online control for your silo load, the company commander was the only one that could fire and he was up the hill at the administration and radar site. The room was pretty sparse as you can see, you had several cases of C-Rations to last for 2 weeks. No water was stored and no toilet. I can only imagine what living in that room for two weeks with several other men would be like. I doubt seriously any would be in good spirits.
I agree. It's all way too depressing, and I avoid reading much detail. I get too much without even trying. Not only that, but the online attacks (which have been going on for 5+ years) on "Baby Boomers" having caused all the world problems are increasing. Yesterday on Twitter someone said that everything (including Russia/Ukraine?) is going to hell because of the people born between 1945-1970 -- which even goes beyond the BBs. Who wants to bet that that poster was born after 1970, and not before 1945? How long before we are doxxed, censored, or physically assaulted for not only being white, but now for being born in the "wrong" generation? This has been in the back of my mind for decades, but in the past two years I have come to believe that Western Civilization is now doomed -- short of a broad Christian revival that overturns the West's current culture. But the hour is late, maybe too late.
