Synonymous perhaps to a bar room full of drinkers. Some maintain a semblance of control whilst the social whitewash is totally wiped off of others. In the realm of drinking alcohol, we call it liquid courage and there are some who get idiotically courageous whilst others imbibe to relax. Sometimes, the state of being anonymous on the net is mixed with liquid courage and we have a train wreck in the making. On another forum, we had a member that we’d laugh about because it was easy to tell when he was sipping a few too many. One moment he’d be peacefully conversant and the next moment he’d be misspelling his words and trolling everyone he could.
On several , in name 'christian' forums, I pursued looking for ANYONE , anyone, even just one person who "changed their mind" over ten years time. Anyone who was 'saved' because of any forum/online. No one. Not even one. ... .. . The best, closest, most meaningful finding was one person who saw the fighting, bickering, arguing, about and among the one world church ecumenical, and did not want to get embroiled in question and answer or seeking anything from such, so they went to the web searches available and looked up the one world church ecumenical and discovered it was totally what it's enemies said and worse even.. So, in a way, they were 'saved' from considering it any longer as if it was a part of any true followers of Jesus.
Wait! I didn't find any cheap sex yet! Of course, I have alzheimers so I can't remember what to do with it when I find it.
It is a world full of chaos now too so that also makes some of us frustrated. I know that doesn't help .
Jesus came and talked on earth to people who were frustrated, tired, worn out , and vexed like Lot was, by all the religion hypocrisy and overall wickedness all around them. He is the only one Who is able to grant peace, joy , forgiveness and eternal life.
I try to remember to change hands. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are right days. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday are left days. I try to be celibate on Sundays. (sung to the tune of Celebrate) Celibate, celibate ... don't dance to the music Celibate, celibate ... that viagra, don't use it la la la
I like to fight, so what's the url of that forum for nasty old people? I maybe would want to meet some of those loud, obnoxious persons ( I won't look in the mirror while saying that ) in person. I'm too old for a fistfight but I've got three scrappy cats who attack on command. I trained them by throwing tuna on people who annoy me.
@Dwight Ward we could party together separately. On a slightly toasty note: did you know the first three letter of your name are DWI?
In real life I never drink and drive. I figure that I drink to give my pickup some rest, What's that river in Egypt? It's probably better that we don't party in real life ... my killer cats and all. I may not like your looks.
