Free At-home Covid19 Test Kits

    Got an e-mail about getting 4 free Covid 19 At-Home Test Kits. I filled out the information and the Test Kits came in yesterday thru USPS. Don't know if we will ever use them, but if we think we may have Covid19, will do a test. Not sure how accurate they are, but will find that out also.

    Actually, Al, have absolutely no idea. But, if the test does say that one of us, or both of us, have Covid 19, will contact our PCP's immediately to see what they say.

    It has been published for years.
    For example, a customer from texas and a co-worker of his were both tested positive for covid at work. Neither one had any symptoms at the time nor after that.
    Being a curious person, wanting to know , one of them bought twenty of the at home tests
    and sent them in as directed.
    Thirteen of them were "positive" as if indicating cvd.

    want to know "the rest of the story" ?
    ...
    The tests were sent WITHOUT swabbing anyone or anything at all.

    Likewise, around the world, as published more often than anyone can remember or keep track of, false positives and false negatives are normal and expected.

    I'm thinking that a positive test with a home testing kit, once reported, will be registered as a positive COVID-19 case, regardless of accuracy. If a subsequent test finds the positive finding to be accurate, that will count as two cases; otherwise, it will still be one.

    I was reading a comment elsewhere that not many people are requesting these tests, and workers are begging their friends & families to order as many as they can, even if they don't plan on using them...the temporary workers at the fulfillment centers are at risk of being laid off.

    That is purely anecdotal, as are reports of gross levels of test inaccuracy...but I believe them. I've read stories of people testing themselves and their asymptomatic kids only to get conflicting results.

    "Conflicting Resuls" :

    If the result is positive, it is only important politically-socially - no honest medical condition is conveyed.

    And the fear it causes, oh the fear is worse than the fear in people's eyes when "cancer" is diagnosed; no true cause of alarm nor even to be anxiously concerned at all. Laughing at the pandemicFarse might be the best choice available at the moment.

    Well, if either of us test "positive", will, without a doubt, consult with our individual doctors. Just the way we are and want to be.

    As I've stated before, if something comes from either China or the Fed, I'm not sticking it up my nose.

    These come from both of them.

    You do as you choose, for better or for worse.
    Just do not ask anyone else to trust the doctors who have been proven working "for money", not for truth, not for health of anyone.

    Even if you trusted them for your lifetime, without ever proving / testing true/ what they said,
    does not mean that anyone else should trust them at all.

    Jeff, if you were a doctor, you'd be working for "money" as well. To become a doctor takes money, just like other professional fields.

    There are those that don't trust going to a doctor and end up dying from whatever. I use to be an EMT, and, in order to be in that profession, a person has to trust ER doctors, nurses and other staff.

    All I can say, John, is..........whatever!
    Anyway, that is one of the major problems of our society today, not trusting our government. Should we not have a Federal Government and do whatever we please? I could just imagine how that would turn out.

    Colorado is a state, and has all the laws, power and authority you could ever need.
    There are 49 other states that fill the same function to prevent us from "doing whatever we please."

    The states created the Federal government with limited enumerated powers. Once the Fed steps out of those bounds, we have a duty to mistrust, for the Fed lacks the authority to engage in any activity other than those listed in Section 8 of the Constitution.

    Section 8: Powers of Congress
    The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

    To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

    To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

    To establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

    To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

    To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

    To establish Post Offices and post Roads;

    To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;

    To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

    To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

    To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards and other needful Buildings;-And

    I learned in pharmaccy that they always lie. Before that I also , like the whole country, was deceived by them. When I learned the truth, I got out. I would not lie, at the cost of my soul. I would not and will not sell my soul to the devil.
