I just took these a few minutes ago. Not sure its been worth it but so far managed to save these [;ants from frost and heat Exstream's. Tomatoes so far,
We only used half the greenhouse this year, and hubby been busy working on vehicles, so it looks shabby but works.
Wish us luck, we are putting up old 10' post we took down to shade camper we sold a couple years ago to put over raised bed to string up tomatoes and put plants in raised bed. I think we should leave them in containers to acclimate or harden off but hubby is going to put them in soil now. He is usually lucky and has a green thumb so maybe they will make it.
I forgot the name but t5hese are the long red sweet peppers. They are now about 5 inches long and going from container in greenhouse to raised bed. Thy3e green pepper below is almost ready to harvest. I'm beginning to worry about hubbys mental condition.
Thats it ,thank you for identifying it for me. They can be used red or green. Reds they are sweeter. Pictures in link below. https://www.bing.com/images/search?...pper&qpvt=Photo+of+Cubanelle+pepper&FORM=IGRE
@John Brunner Don Alaska helped me with name, I forgot it.. A picture of one some are close to a foot long usually 6to 8 inches' long.
Interesting. I don't believe I've ever seen one or had a recipe that called for one, and I've cooked a lot of from-scratch Mexican and Asian foods using fresh and dried peppers/chilis. But the varieties of peppers across the planet is darned-near infinite.
We were first introduced to these from a guy selling out of hid greenhouse. So we ordered some seeds several years ago. I kept them frozen till life slowed down some and as you can see from the picture I took a couple days ago the seeds worked great. I had never seen them either till then.
