On Prime or Netflix there is/was a series called "Between the Wars" , docu-series? Documentaries several hours covering from the end of the first war to the start of the second.
Guess what was revealed ? Or, don't guess, watch some if you can. I don't know if it is still available or not, or what other sources might be available.

What was revealed ? We, the USA, what the USA and Britain did, was/ were worse than Russia or Putin.
We forced the second war to happen, and did not prevent it when it was totally possible to prevent it before it started.

This was discussed about 15 years ago on a forum and their were pictures of them but can't find the one with Hitler, Prescot Bush and a Molem someone put up.
The whole world is deceptive so the whole truth is not possible.
Here is one of the few pictures and there are many stories on the subject.

Another twist in the twisted Ukraine narrative ... Israel has been caught funding the Azov battalion and other neo-nazi groups in Ukraine.
Ukraine has been the focus of the West going back years. The present imbroglio is so complex that I am at a loss to understand it.
Assuming that any nazi movement needs a minority to persecute, it's surprising that the Ukrainian neo-nazis are Jewish friendly. Instead, they terrorize the Russian community. No wonder Donetsk and Luhansk want to succede.

... and if the Ukrainian nazis ever do rid the country of all Russians (except for those in prison or camps ), then the Ukrainian Jewish populace can start getting nervous. The nazis will need a new group to demonize.
The more I learn about Ukraine the less I know.

Off topic. I try to sign in with amazon to see this docuseries and after accepting my user and pass, amazon sends a txt link to my phone that I have to 'approve' to finish sign-in. I don't have a smart phone. What does approve mean in this context? Any help appreciated.

On a phone that receives the message with a button onscreen that says "approve", clicking on that button is what amazon wants.

There might be other options to satisfy amazon "approve", some kind of two factor authorization maybe, but I don't know.

There's no button labeled 'approve' anywhere. I would have seen that and not have a problem. There is only a link to some webpage I suppose I'm supposed to go to and approve something there. In the meantime, as much as I despise amazon, they are the only go-to for some things I want to order and I can't login to them.

If you have an amazon account, you should be able to log in with whatever device you usually use to order from Amazon. A smart phone would have an amazon app; but you should not need that just to log in, @Dwight Ward .

We use Amazon Smiles, which also donates a portion of each order (at no cost to you) to a charity of your choice. Here is the link for that, and once you log in with this website, all you should have to do is go to the amazon prime videos and watch the movie.

If you do not have a prime account, you might have to rent it; but if you have Netflix, and it is available on there, you should be able to watch it for free.

Right. I rarely pay for movies. I do a lot of netflix. Thanks for all the good advice, Yvonne. I'll get it figured out eventually. If you ever leave that husband of yours I'm available (just to talk, I mean).

This is kinda crazy. Most of my reply is not showing up but when I go to edit it to add what's missing it's all there. What's showing italicized in the second paragraph as if from Yvonne is my writing .Then when I save changes most of it is gone again. I'm haunted.

I just heard on the news that Russia is now considering cancelling the service to the International Space Station if sanctions are not lifted. We have been paying the Russians for ISS service since the shuttle program was discontinued under GW Bush. As far as I know, Russia is the only nation that has the capacity to perform the job. China could perhaps do it, but would have to fit their spacecraft to dock with the ISS. I wonder if Biden will go begging on his knees to the Chinese to please get us out of this bind like he did with the Saudis, the Venezuelans, and the Iranians begging for more oil.

If we don't have the expertise to do this, how did we get to the moon? I used to think that speculation that we never went were pretty far-fetched. Now I have my own doubts.

I think we went to the moon, and could do it again, but we have decided that space isn't important any more. It is more important to provide massive welfare programs to buy the approval of the masses than it is to achieve technical advancement. We could do exactly what the Russians are doing--using 1980s technology to provide "trucks" and "buses" into orbit. We had a marvelous vehicle to perform the task in a much better manner, but we decided waging war in the Mideast and providing welfare was more important.

Until we have 99% employment I think we need to ensure that the less well-off can at least survive. Their children can't be judged as indolent and need a chance to achieve.
I totally agree about the wars, though. We've been at that for a century.
