    Happy Easter!

My wife has tomorrow, Good Friday, off. Where I have worked before, I never got Good Friday off, but, then again, I never took Veterans Day or my birthday off. Anyway, perhaps we will go out for breakfast and a few other things. She will have a 3-day weekend and, most definitely needs it!
For Easter Sunday, will have a ham steak, mashed potatoes plus. And, have the movie, Risen to watch. Excellent movie for Easter Sunday.

Ok, so, my daughter has rabbits and Easter bunnies but none of them have a private jet.
    Happy Easter Everyone!

Well, here it is Good Friday. Wife has a 3-day weekend and this morning we had breakfast at Waffle House. No mask wearing going in, inside or leaving. Hadn't been to Waffle House for almost 2 years.

Then, after Waffle House breakfast, guess where this picture was taken: (see bottom of picture)

Milk cow/heifer sale at local livestock auction. Yep, we were there for some 2 hours looking at livestock being sold/bought

Well, Mary, we don't go to buy or sell, but just to observe, which to some people seems sort of stupid, but. One thing for sure, the people (local/long distance ranchers) who are there buying or selling, sure are nice. Talked to one couple, within our age bracket, that live an hour north of Cheyenne, Wyoming. We told them that we are thinking/researching about moving to Cheyenne. Yes, Cheyenne is the Capitol of Wyoming, but, so far, the pluses of living there definitely outnumber where we live right now.

I was denied entrance to a kids Easter egg hunt on the following grounds.

    A. I am unable to bend over far enough and grabbers are forbidden

    B. I am unable to run and electrically assisted chairs are forbidden

    C. I am unable to see clearly from the side or hear kids approaching from the rear
and my former record told of kids being tripped and candy eggs missing from their baskets

    D. My use of service dogs, a Labrador to spot the eggs and a Border Collie to grab the heels
of kids bending to pick up eggs.

Yes, I am unliked solely because of my age. When I was young getting gigs hiding eggs while wearing bunny ears was easy.:D It is amazing how lengthening a skirt and highering your top and losing the ability to bend down and grasp a colored egg can lead to obscurity. I still look sassy in bunny ears says no one.

Wisdom from a former Easter Bunny ..."Don't put all your eggs in one basket."

Yes, the older we get, the less we can do. As far as an Easter Egg Hunt goes, they don't take hours upon hours to do, but if Seniors are involved...........

There's a woman in her 80s who works at my local Walmart, and she wears The Ears starting this time of year for as long as she can get away with it. She and I get a laugh out of it...there are inside jokes that wouldn't make sense here even if I explained them. I like her...she's as cynical as I.

Regarding Elders and Easter...the benefit I've discovered is I can hide my own eggs.

You're nobunny 'til somebunny loves you♫

Anyone can do that. My problem is then, that I can't remember WHERE I hid them. Good news is they are waist high, right?
