I know Ken let's us all express our opinions whether he agrees or not. I appreciate that. But when a poster posts his "Opinions" aka bovine scat on every thread, even somebody's diary post, I do find that extremely irritating. If I see that that person is the last one who posted on a thread, I don't bother to read it because I already know it's what it is. But I don't want to miss what someone posted in their diary. I think fluff is kinda like cotton candy. I really like cotton candy maybe once a year at the festivals and fairs but I don't want a steady diet of it.
That is interesting. Faye is the most colorful person I've 'met' in a long time. She doesn't hide or sugar coat stuff. And if she were to kick my butt, I would be sad but would go back to see why it needed kicking. Some people I would not put up with and ignore them. Curious, Lulu, if you can give a specific example of Conservatism that offends you to the point of leaving?
I like Faye's stuff. I get the impression that she puts a lot of time and polishing on what she writes and it's always interesting and of a unique perspective.
There are times I'm tempted to use the Ignore feature, but I'm too controlling to have my behaviour dictated by others, and it's probably better for me to not avoid that which irritates me. Since avoidance is still a type of interaction, I may as well just confront it. For some reason, it feels less negative to me...I just read the stuff and move on.
Why do some irritate us big time ……. .do ya think their scent comes through our speakers on our iPads or computers or is it all the BS they spew day after day …..
I feel the same as you John. I never use the 'ignore' button on any forum. If I want to ignore someone on my own I am well able to do that.
I used ignore for a while here and elsewhere but felt I was missing something. I know which posters might need it so I'll sometimes just skip them.
