I can't leave Mitzi out



Other than West Side Story this is the only other Musical that kept me interested when I was young

 

I saw Mitzi and Ray Stevens perform live on stage in Atlanta Ga.. Mitzi was singing 'The Streak' and Ray was running behind her a distance in flesh colored outfit. Sang lots of songs,she was great. First time I ever wore an evening gown also ,sadly the last time.
I think I've seen all her movies.

 

I always felt her and Donald O'Conner were underrated performers.

 

I agree although I liked their co-stars I thought they were not treated as well.
Did you like Betty Hutton? This one is comical.

 

I always like anything you can do by her and Howard Keel

 

I like classic movie and their soundtracks. Musicals were one of my favorites.

 

Haven't thought of this for years but it is pertinent to my life now

 

I I saw a small production of Music Man a local theater starring John Davidson

 

I took 4 of the oldest grankids to see 'Sound Of Music' at The Fox in Atlanta in 1995 I think it was, Marie Osmond did a great job playing Julie Andrews part.But I seldom got to see these kind of shows.

I really enjoyed Les Mis had tears during the show very emotional the music goes from strong to soft and emotional.
I really like the music from The Phantom of the Opera and most of Andrew Lloyd Webber's work.
I saw both of these on Broadway the Phantom production was a little disappointing.

 

Music is good for the soul and body. Even the two wild dogs we have like it. Leo came right up to the door to listen to it.

 

Are they retrievers?

 

No they are mutts and brother and sister of the same litter. The female was spayed at 4 months. They were a about 13 or 14 months when we first got them several weeks ago.
